We believe in one God alone who is the creator and sustainer of life.

Our God is:

* Universal, Spirit, and Love.
* Almighty, personal, and holy.
* All-powerful and all-knowing.


We have come to know God through:

* bible study.
* prayer and the answering of our prayers.
* being God's people and creation through a deepening faith that leads to peace and joy.
* miracles that happen in everyday life.


We know and trust in Jesus Christ who is fully human, fully divine. Christ came to save us from sin and eternal death.

* Jesus died for our sins and was raised from the dead by God.
* The death of Jesus embodies our forgiveness.
* Jesus is God's only begotten son and serves as our teacher and model.
* Through Jesus' death and resurrection, God has provided us with a means for our salvation.


We believe that the Holy Spirit:

* is always in our presence.
* works in and through us, watches over us and guides us.
* descends upon us like a dove, filling us with Light, empathy, comfort, and enthusiasm.


We believe that this church is:

* an avenue through which to do God's work.
* a community through which God's people preserve the heritage and knowledge passed down through generations.
* not only a place of worship that provides a nurturing environment but is also a way for diverse unification of God's people to serve as we are called to do.


We are a prayer centered church. Prayer for us is:

* a conversation with God and being open to God's response.
* a guiding presence in our daily lives.
* a healing process through which we are able to turn over our burdens to God.
* focusing, centering and resting in the presence of God.
* having a direct relationship with God whereby we express our gratitude to God.
